COVID-19 Biological Risk Worker Online Course

For companies with biological risk, health surveillance is mandatory, which includes carrying out periodic biological monitoring, defined by the Competent Doctor and the employer, on the basis of specific exposure scenarios, the results of which must be communicated to the exposed worker. Biohazard farms are basically of two types: those that deliberately use biological organisms for their activities and those that do not deliberately use biological agents but which could potentially still come into contact with some of them.The art. 37 paragraph 1 letter a) of Legislative Decree 81/08 provides that the employer must ensure that each worker has sufficient and adequate training in the field of health and safety that deals in particular with the following topics:
  • concepts of risk, damage, prevention, protection, organization of company prevention, rights and duties of the various company subjects, supervisory bodies, control, assistance;
  • the duration of this general module must not be less than 4 hours (as specified by the State-Regions Agreement of 21 December 2011).
 

WHEN SHOULD I TAKE THE COURSE?

The general training course is compulsory for the worker and must be carried out at the time:
  • the establishment of the employment relationship or the start of use in the case of a leasing contract;
  • the transfer or change of duties;
  • the introduction of new work equipment or new technologies, new dangerous substances and preparations.

WHICH WORKERS AND WHICH SECTORS IS THE COURSE ADDRESSED TO?

To all workers of any macro-category of risk and correspondence ATECO 2002-2007.

Methods of Conduct

The general worker training course takes place online in e-learning mode. Having the didactic material available free of charge, the worker will be able to obtain the level of training suitable for completing the intermediate evaluation tests useful for obtaining, upon passing the final learning test, a regular certificate pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 81/2008 and subsequent amendments and the State-Region Agreement of 21.12.2011, pursuant to art. 37 and 266 of Legislative Decree no. 81/08 and subsequent amendments, corrective Legislative Decree 106/09, which can be used for work purposes and for the fulfillment of the obligation to adapt to the relevant legislation.We remind you that, in the event that you fail to pass the final exam, this can be repeated (once the preparation has been refined) without further costs.
